Mrityunjaya Quotes/
11 Quotes from Karna's Biography

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pg 31

Who knows, in this world, how many types of human exists  & what natures do they possess! From whose imagination do they arise? Why and for what are they created? In this world who is that Great Designer or Sculpturor who creates them? What must be His intention behind creating so many beings? Because like one person, the second never resembles, and even if resembles then also that is not perfectly true. Oh, no one and never can these questions be given proper answers - Karna

Memory must be a wave like the guests. It can stand on the gates of the mind at any time. - Karna

Really, is not the mind of the mother - like the entire collection of love existing in all the 3 worlds - Karna

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pg 35

Ishavasyam Idam Sarvam  - Prayer quoted by Karna & others in Gurukul of Drona
i.e. "Everything Belongs to God"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pg 38

Why should a crow sitting on the Vada tree see colourful dreams of sitting like a piegon on the topmost height of a palace? - Karna (when Drona refuses to teach him with the princes)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pg 40

A true or full blooded horse never sits on earth. Not even at night while sleeping. That way a true or full blooded charioteer should also never leave his chariot. Even at the cost of his life. What place he sits, then it becomes his permanent place (during wars) - Sanjay to Karna

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pg 42

Memories are like thunder storms. They can come from anywhere and in anyway. Not only this, they highly disturb the peaceful lake of our mind. - Karna

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pg 49

A human's love is like the earth. First we have to reap a grain. Then the earth gives us plantations rich in grains. Human is also like that. If he gets one word of love then he becomes ready to shower freely a river full of love words. - Karna

Love makes a person blind - Karna

Faith is always strong - Karna

If an elderly person shows the faults of younger ones then it is good. But what if the elderly person ignores this duty of his. What if he does not express or points faults of younger ones. Then the seed of mind of a younger soul gets locked. Then the plant comes out of that seed in any direction where it finds its way. - Karna

Which are the Household remedies over Neck Pain?

Household remedy for Neck pain

First Solution
1) Tie a scarf or a muffler. Pain subsides in 15 minutes to 2 hours
2) Close upper button of shirt

Nerves are like threads hanging in body. When we sit & lean (eg. to read or eat) this nerves gets pressure, so they tend to move from place. Mainly neck plays an important role as we use our head more & head has more weight. When upper button of shirt is closed or as an alternate when woolen muffler is rounded up, the nerves of the neck lines up and the root cause of the pain - their displacement is removed. Even warmth of the body remains around the neck due to which also the pain subsides.

Second Solution
Second solution is rubber bag filled with hot water. This does not work more. This is because heat area in this is around 10 cm x 15 cm. To remove neck pains heat area needed is 1 cm x 2 cm or slightly more than that. This much heat area acts like a pressure. Whereas larger heat area does not help so much. So take a closed steel bottle. Fill it with hot water. Apply on certain pain areas. This works much more better than rubber bag filled with hot water. In fact only this works. The heat rubber bag does not work at all or works negligibly burning even those areas unnecessarily which does not lead to pain relief.

Third Solution
Third reason for neck pain may be your sitting posture. If you sit on a chair & in front of a table. If you keep your legs inclined at 45 degree downwards then this can result to immense pain later. So don't keep both your legs inclined under the table. Place it at 90 degree or backside inclined towards your chair. It should never be kept inclined towards table at 45 degree. This can result to severe back pain.

Fourth Solution
Acupuncture can also help in relieving pain but experts of this branch of healing are mainly in China. Rarely available in India. So heat treatment as per Second Solution given here or First solution can definitely help.

Fifth Solution
Never take a pillow while sleeping if possible & you will not have neck pain. Also your mattress on which you sleep may be the root cause of pain. So sleep on floor i.e. a straight surface without pillow and all neck pain vanishes. This is possible for thin & lean persons. Fat & large persons might find problem. But if they can do this , this may help.

If this household remedies do not work. Better to consult a doctor. Usually every doctor gives advice not to press neck as it does not help but worsens the situation. i.e. massage does not help here.

Things to Avoid (as much as possible)
1) AC
2) Cold drinks
3) Walking without slippers at home if floor is cold in cold areas or in winter

Theory of Nerves Lining up & heat wave regulation in body

In ancient India almost all used to wear bangle type ornament near ankle & such ornaments (circular ring in waist & beneath chest etc.). This was not only for beauty but for lining up the nerves which are like threads hanging in the body. Also wearing Mukuts or thrones on head or circular ring on head was to absorb the heat wave getting generated in the body.  This heat wave leads to baldness. They used to wear this circular rings or thrones  on head to absorb those heat waves. Credit goes to the Rishis who were guiding the King & hence the civilization. Their amazing deep thinking is realized when we read the Vedic theories. Hence no miracle if their suggestions helped the ancient Indians in getting rid of such non-uniformities arising in body.

Even Ayurveda supports the theory of heat wave arising in bodies. So they suggest for wearing metal rings in fingers or kadas(metal bangles) in wrist.
