What is a solicitor?

A barrister or a canvasser dealing with wills.

However in some definitions, 
barrister and solicitor are termed different. 

A person who prepares case for barrister in higher court is a solicitor.

Especially when someone has to make a will with respect to his property or company shares, 
the solicitor is required. 

He makes a will for the heir.

A solicitor is a member of legal profession.

A solicitor is a lawyer who can represent client in lower courts.
